Compose your picture with the

Compose your picture.
Choose
the
size of your
subject
by
pushing
the zoom
lever
with your
forefinger
to
the
side
"
T"
(telephoto)
or
"W"
(wideangle).
•
Y ou cannet trip the
shutter
during
zooming.
•
After zooming
the
lens,
do
not
try to
move
il
forwa
rd
or backward with your
hand
or tu rn
it.

Focus the lens.
Aim the
focusing
frame at the subject you
want to locus on, and focus the lens by
depressing the
shutter
release
halfway.
When
the
subject
is
sharply
focused, an electronic
"beep"
will sound and
the
sharp·focus
lamp
(green) will
tu
rn on in the viewfinder.

If the green
lamr.>
blinks, it means
the
lens is
not correc
tly focused
on the subject.
Though
you can
trip
the
shutter
in
this
state, your
subject will
not
turn out
sharp.
To
locus,
use
the
Focus
Lock.

Manual
tocusing
is
not
possible.
•
The smart
inner·focus system moves the
lens
in
the
camera
quickly
to
focus
it exactly
on
the
subject.
