Check the drive chain tension (large) and very lightly grease the drive chain (large),
the press roller chain (small) and the sprockets with liquid grease (see chain detail
below)
Visually check the condition of the ironing bands, the infeed bands, press fleece
and folder conveyor bands to anticipate their replacement if necessary
Check the tension of the ironing bands, infeed bands, presser fleece and folder
conveyor belts. This tension setting must be the same on both sides.
Visually check the condition of the side rollers (x2) to anticipate their replacement
if necessary.
Clean the exhaust duct
NOTE: The frequency is defined on the basis of a 40-hour working week, 2000 hours
corresponds to approximately one year.
The chains are fitted with quick couplings for easier removal.
The drive satellite chain (large) is tensioned automatically using an automatic tensioning
sprocket which must be loosened to remove the chain and tightened to refit it.
The press satellite drive chain (small) is not tensioned deliberately.
Below is a description of how to determine the state of wear of the chains and when they need
to be replaced:
Small and large drive chains (pitch = 9.52 mm)
Check and maintenance points
If L > 155.5 mm, replace the chain
