Recommendations for use
The dryer-ironer has a control panel that, among other things, is used to adjust the cylinder
temperature and speed, which must be adapted to the type of laundry to be dried and ironed.
These two parameters (temperature and speed) must be adapted by the user to the type of
flat laundry to be dried and ironed. If the laundry is still damp, the temperature should be
increased and/or the speed reduced. Conversely, reduce the temperature and/or speed if the
laundry comes out very stiff or slightly yellowed (signs of overheating).
The laundry must have a relative moisture content of 25% to 50%.
The maximum temperature setting is 180°C.
Engage the item of laundry in the machine by placing it on the infeed table (correct insertion
of laundry, which should be flat and properly stretched out will result in better quality ironing).
For large laundry items, two people should work together in front of the machine. Each person
must hold one end of the item and they must engage it together at the same time
The loading height and the infeed table pitch provide perfect ergonomics, thereby eliminating
muscular-skeletal disorders related to this work station.
The laundry will be automatically fed to be dried and ironed, it can be collected in the outfeed
tray or transported to the front or back outfeed if the machine has the folding machine option.
An option (automatic mode) automatically adjusts the cylinder speed depending on the residual
moisture content detected in the laundry.
The laundry must be flat (without buttons, fasteners, poppers, buckles, etc.), it must not be
folded before being fed into the machine for optimum quality and must not be thicker than 8
mm.
To limit heating inertia as much as possible, it is advisable to start working when the
temperature is slightly lower than the set point temperature.
If a production stoppage is longer than 15 minutes, it is advisable to press STOP to switch the
machine to the cooling phase and thus limit needless energy consumption. Press START again
to resume work and restart machine heating.
When ironing small pieces of flat laundry, it is essential to work successively over the entire
ironing length in order to obtain regular work and a better ironing band service life, which would
otherwise deteriorate quickly.
