5 ANOMALIES AND ALARMS
5.1 Miscellaneous anomalies
The machine is fitted with a microprocessor which has alarms of which the details are given
below to inform users of various operating, safety or information alarms. However, some
anomalies may occur without the screen being able to display an alarm, including, but not
limited to, the following list:
ANOMALIES
The screen is off
The cylinder rotates slowly
The cylinder temperature does not rise
The cylinder temperature is very high and
does not match the temperature displayed
on the screen
The ironing quality is poor
The machine overheats on one side (the
bands become darker than on the other
side)
After
drying/ironing,
outfeed, the laundry has static electricity
and "sticks" to the ironing bands
The laundry comes out yellowed
The cylinder whitens
VERIFICATIONS
Check that the cut-off switch is in the "I" position
Check that the electric voltage reaches the machine
Check that the emergency stop has not been triggered
Check the F1 control fuse
The preheating temperature of 130°C must be reached
Check the manual reset safety thermostat located in the
left frame of the machine. If it is engaged, do not reset it if
the cylinder temperature is above 150°C
Check that the feelers are clean and in the correct position
Check the ironing band tension and/or wear. Replace
them if necessary.
Check the condition of the presser fleece and replace it if
necessary
Check the infeed band tension and/or wear. Replace them
if necessary
The temperature and/or speed are not adapted to the type
of laundry
Make sure that the laundry is evenly spread over the entire
working length of the roller (see section 3.1)
at
the
machine
During the laundry wash cycle, add an antistatic softener
to the last rinse and/or reduce the water pH in the last rinse
to 5.
The laundry is poorly rinsed (washing product residue) or
the cylinder temperature is too high.
The water used to wash the laundry has a high TH (reduce
