2.2.5 Connection to the electricity supply
The electricity supply cable is not included.
The machine must be connected to the electricity supply using an electric cable that has the
specifications defined in the tables below and protected by a 300 mA or 30 mA SI (super
immunised) ground fault circuit breaker. The electric cable must not be connected to a plug
and at least 50 cm of slack must be left in the machine to connect the cable directly to the cut-
off switch in the machine. There should be a maximum distance of 3 metres between the
connection to the cut-off switch and the protective device (circuit breaker).
The electric installation must comply with applicable standards. Make sure the supply voltage
matches the technical data on the identification plate located behind the machine (see section
2.1).
It is essential that the earth be properly connected to guarantee user safety and proper
operation.
The power cable must be connected to the cut-off switch in the left frame. The power supply
cable must pass through the back of the machine through one of the holes in the frame as
shown above.
