The outlet duct must be as short as possible. It should not exceed 5 metres, have more than
2 90° bends and should have a 2% outward slope in horizontal sections to prevent
condensate from flowing back to the machine, and it must be fitted with a check valve.
•
If the evacuation duct must exceed 5 metres and 2 bends, it is advisable to
increase the evacuation duct diameter or to add an extraction motor in the duct.
The extraction motor sizing must be calculated by a company specialised in air handling using
the following indications:
-
Fan motor power:
-
Extraction rate:
-
Head loss at fan outlet:
2.2.7 Commissioning
After making sure that the machine is installed according to the recommendations in this
manual (levelling, electricity connection), start up the dryer ironer:
•
Turn the cut-off switch at the back of the machine on the left side to position 1.
•
Check that the emergency stop button has not been triggered
•
Press START to remove the wax paper wrapped around the cylinder.
•
Make sure that the feelers are in the correct positions before and just after the 1

factory to protect the cylinder from corrosion (see section 4.4).
Check that the machine is working properly (in the event of any anomaly, refer to
•
section 5).
Train the operating personnel in the use of the machine as described in section 3.
