HANDLING AND INSTALLATION
WARNING: The connection must be
made by authorised, skilled personnel, in
accordance with the relevant legal requi-
rements, using appropriate and specifi ed
materials. The appliance is supplied with
operating voltage 400V/2N, which can be
switched to 230V/3 - 230V/1N.
HAZARD: Before doing any work, cut
off the mains electricity supply.
Connect the appliance to the mains electricity
supply as follows.
If not already present, install an automatic

circuit-breaker
close to the appliance, with
(A)
the following characteristics:
– Thermal breaker device (to adjust see Annexes).
– Magnetic circuit breaker B or C (IEC 60898).
– Residual current protection set a 30 mA.
Take out the screws (B) and take down the

control panel (C) to access the electric box (E).
Connect the circuit-breaker (A) to the ter-

minal boards (D) of the appliance as shown
in the diagram and in the electrical system
diagram at the back of the manual and use
a cable with at least type H07RN-F character-
istics:
– Weight: ≥ than H07RN-F type(designation
245 IEC 57)
– Temperature of use: ≥ 80°
Tighten the cable gland (E).

WARNING: When connecting, take
care to connect the neutral and earth lines.
Replace the control panel (C) on completion

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
CONVERSION OF ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
For direct connection to the mains one must envi-
sage a device that ensures disconnection from the
mains, with a contacts opening distance that ensu-
res complete disconnection in the conditions of ca-
tegory III over-tension, in compliance with the in-
stallation rules.
