. Using the ice-cream maker
The appliance is driven by an electric motor. This can lead to a slight
smell during initial operation. This smell is normal and is not a sign of a
malfunctioning appliance.
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
Remove the lid (1) by turning it clockwise.
Remove the container (11) (see Fig. 5). Hold
it by the handle.
Fill the container in the ice-cream maker
with ingredients.
Use the supplied measuring cup (8) for
measuring out the ingredients.
Fill the container no more than half
full, as ice cream expands and the
container could overflow.
You do not need to pre-chill the
container before preparing the ice
cream. The appliance is equipped
with an integrated compressor that
chills the ingredients while prepar-
ing the ice cream.
Replace the filled container as described above.
Place the lid on the housing and turn it anti-clockwise until it clicks into place.
Connect the appliance to a properly installed socket.
Press the
button (19) to switch on the appliance.

Press the

The operating duration is increased or decreased by one minute each time the but-
ton is briefly pressed.
Pressing the button for longer accelerates the setting of the operating time:
•
button up to 5 minutes,
•
button up to 70 minutes.
