1.4 Warnings in this document
Warnings warn about dangers that can occur
when handling the power tool. They come in
four danger levels that can be distinguished
by the signal word:
Signal word Meaning
DANGER Indicates a danger with high
risk, which can cause death
or severe injuries if it is not
avoided.
WARNING Indicates a danger with
medium risk, which can
cause severe injuries if it is
not avoided.
CAUTON Indicates a danger with low
risk, which can cause minor
or moderate injuries if it is not
avoided.
ATTENTION Indicates a danger that can
cause property damage.

1.5 Proper use
The TRUMPF nibblers are hand-guided
power tools for the following applications:
– Slitting plate-shaped workpieces and
corrugated sheets made of steel, alu-
minum, plastic, etc.
– Slitting straight or curved outer edges
and making interior cut-outs
– Slitting along scribed lines or templates

The TRUMPF nibblers
are hand-guided power tools for the following
applications:
– Slitting pipes
– Processing of tilted sheet metal profiles
and chamfers (e.g. for tanks, guide rails,
troughs, etc.)

Due to the hollow round punch, this
TRUMPF nibbler can be turned when work-
ing on the point. Processing can be contin-
ued in any direction.
