The device is suitable for self-shielded flux
cored wire welding using an appropriate
wire. No additional gas is required. The
shielding gas is contained in powder form in
the wire itself, thus it is fed directly into the
arc. This means the device is not susceptible
to wind and can be used outside. Only
suitable wire electrodes may be used for
the device. Observing the safety instructions
and assembly instructions and operating
information in the instructions for use is also
a component of the intended use.
It is imperative to adhere to the applicable
accident prevention regulations. The device
must not be used:
– in rooms with insufficient ventilation,
– in explosive atmospheres,
– for the purpose of thawing pipes,
– in the vicinity of people with cardiac
pacemakers and
