Duct mount gas detectors only:
Align both transmitter and receiver with the knurled nuts (1) so that

the maximum signal strength is achieved (

the measuring points of both transmitter and receiver on the HART
The tolerance limit of 30 scale divisions from 0 must not be exceeded after the alignment (see dotted line at TX S in
the figure on page 18).
iii Fasten the locking nuts (2). In this process, check and ensure that the measuring points of both transmitter and
receiver remain within the 30 scale divisions from 0 on the HART
b. In the 5 / Maintenance menu, select 2 Stop Alignment.
The alignment mode is exited and the measured signal issued.

c. Exit the HART
application.
d. Open path gas detectors only:
Mount the weather protection on both transmitter and receiver.
Duct mount gas detectors only:
Mount the cover on both transmitter and receiver.
If there is no DIGITAL LINK connection, the alignment mode must be exited separately at the transmitter. Otherwise, zero
calibration cannot be performed.
