Entering of wheel data for standard
programs
i
Wheel data is entered in accordance with the selec-

For wheel balancing, this must be characterised by
entering the following parameters:
$
Distance: it is the distance between wheel and
machine;
$
Diameter: it is the nominal diameter indicated on
the rim.
$
Width: for standard programs it is the width of
the rim;

Automatic measurement of Distance and
Diameter
1. Place the electronic vernier caliper for measuring the
rim distance and diameter on the rim and hold
in position for one second.
The measurement location display depends on the ba-
lancing program selected (Fig. 9, pos. 1).
i
An acoustic signal sounds to indicate that the positi-
on has been registered.
 The left display shows the currently set rim
width;
 The right display shows rim diameter.
i
The displays do not show rim distance. Correct value
acquisition can however be verified using the keys
(Fig. 10, pos. 1b).
i
If electronic rim distance and diameter measure-
ment is not possible, wheel data can also be entered
manually.
i
In order to enter rim distance and diameter manu-
ally, follow the procedure described here below.
