Fitting the wheel guard

The back of the SBM 55S NW contains 4 blind rivet
nuts countersunk in the housing wall.
1. Fasten the supporting arm to the SBM 55S NW.
To do so, screw the 4 supplied Allen screws and 4
washers into the blind rivet nuts and tighten (width
A/F 6).

2. Screw the wheel guard loosely to the supporting
journal with 3 screws and 3 washers (width A/F 6).

Make sure that the open wheel guard is lying on the
supporting arm (rubber buffer).

3. Firmly tighten the screws.

Electrical connection
!
The SBM 55S NW is only to be connected to the
power supply if the mains voltage available corre-
sponds to the rated voltage given on the rating plate.
1. Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the
rated voltage given on the rating plate.
2. Provide fuse protection for the SBM 55S NW mains
connection in line with locally applicable standards.
The customer is responsible for providing fuse pro-
tection for the mains connection.
3. Connect the power cord to the SBM 55S NW.
