With a non-memorized transmitter:
01. Disconnect the electrical power supply to the motor.
02. Connect the white wire and the black/white wire to one another.
03. Restore the power supply and perform the previous procedure, shown in this
paragraph.
8.5 - Total deletion of the memory and restoring factory settings
Caution! – This function deletes all memorised data: limit switches "0" and
"1", all values described in chapter 8 and the memorised transmitters. The
procedure can be performed with a memorised transmitter or the wall-mount-
ed pushbutton panel.
With a transmitter already memorised:
01. Press and hold the key ■ (for approx. 5 seconds),
(5")
until the motor performs 1 VIBRATION; then re -
1
lease the key.
02. Press and hold the key ▲ until the motor performs
3 LONG motions; then release the key precisely
3
on the third motion.
03. Press and hold the key ■ until the motor performs
3 LONG motions; then release the key precisely
3
on the third motion.
04. Press and hold the key ▼ until the motor performs
3 LONG motions; then release the key precisely
3
on the third motion.
05. (within the next 2 seconds) Press keys ▼ and ▲
simultaneously and then release.
5
After a few seconds the motor completes 5 LONG
motions (= Memory deleted)
With a wall-mounted pushbutton panel:
01. Connect to the cable of the For-Max a push button control panel with 2 buttons
(refer to fig. 6).
02. Then simultaneously press and hold the two buttons (Up and Down) until the
motor performs a slight movement.
03. Then release only one button and press it 3 times, once per second.
8.6 - Locking or unlocking the For-Max memory
This procedure enables the user to lock and unlock the For-Max memory to prevent
accidental memorisation of other transmitters not envisaged on the system.
01. Press and hold the key ■ (for approx. 5 seconds),
(5")
until the motor performs 1 VIBRATION; then
1
release the key.
02. Press and hold the keys ▲ and ▼ (for approx. 5
(5")
seconds), until the motor performs 4 SHORT mo -
4
tions; then release the key.
03. Then:
• to LOCK the memory, press key ▲ once;
• to UNLOCK the memory, press key ▼ once;
The motor then completes 3 LONG motions (=
memory locked/unlocked).
