- Slide the upper column [2463] onto the shaft and press the lip seal
[4300A] to its location onto the upper bearing cover [3261].
- Insert the key [6742].
- Slide the half coupling [7221] onto the shaft.
- Install the support washer [7419] upon the half coupling and
tighten the bearing assembly with the nut [7411].
9.3.6.2 ASSEMBLY OF BEARING BRACKET TYPE TH WITH
MOTOR FRAME V1
- Install a new centering O'Ring [4610A] into the groove of the
bearing housing [3142].
- Slide the shaft [2100] throughout the lantern [3142].
- Install a new lip seal [4300] onto the shaft.
Insert the elastic ring [6544D] and the support washer [2463] on the
shaft.
- Insert the key [6742].
- Slide the half-coupling [7222] onto the shaft.
- Install the washer [7419] and tighten the fasting screw [7416].
- Press the ball bearing [3011] against the shoulder on the half
coupling [7212] and then install the elastic ring [6544A].
- Assemble the coupling assembly [7212] + [3011] and the half
coupling [7222]. Tighten the screws [7412] to fasten the shaft.
Remove grease from the 2 half couplings with care before final
assembly.
