It might be difficult to remove the casing from the back cover
(tight assembly or corrosion). Use screwdrivers to lever-up the
casing and separate casing from cover.
-
Remove casing [1130].
-
Remove casing [1150].
-
Remove casing seal [4596].
9.3.2.7
DISMANTLING OF THE I MPELLER :
-
Remove circlips [6544A]
-
Remove the lock washer if necessary and washer [2905].
-
Lever out with 2 screwdrivers between impeller and back cover.
Danger from squeeze points. Handle impeller with care.

Remove the driver key from the shaft using pincers if necessary.
9.3.3

DISMANTLING OF LOWER BUSHING :

-
Press out the bushing with the back cover supported on impeller
side.
Respect the choice of leaning surface on the back cover [1130]
while pressing out the bushing [3313].
9.3.4
DISMANTLING OF COLUM N ON PUMP SIDE
AND INTERMEDIATE COL UMNS :
For pumps designed with only one column, dismantle the casing.
9.3.4.1
DISMANTLING OF COLUM N ON CASING SIDE :
-
Shim under next column.
-
Remove bolts [6577F – 6581F]
-
Remove column on casing side [1340A] using a plastic made mallet
if necessary to separate the flanges.
Danger from squeeze points. Depending column size it may be
necessary to use slings to lift the column prior to dismantling.
-
Slide out the column from the shaft.
9.3.4.2
REMOVING THE INTERME DIATE BEARING :
-
if necessary use a screwdriver and a mallet to extract the bearing
housing.
-
Slide the bearing housing [3250] out of the shaft.
-
Press out the bearing [3320], using its casing side as a support face.
-
Repeat this process for next intermediate columns.
9.3.5

DISMANTLING OF THE SHAFT :

Check that lifting device is calibrated to move parts weight. Check
motor weight. It is engraved on motor nameplate.
-
Attach slings to the motor using lifting eyes or lifting lugs available
on the motor frame.
It might be difficult to remove motor from matting flange (tight
assembly or corrosion). Use screwdrivers to lever-up motor flange and
separate motor from pump.
9.3.5.1
MOTOR ASSEMBLY TYPE CS AND EM :
-
Remove coupling protecting cover [7450].
-
Remove motor [8010] fastening screws/bolts [6577C].
-
Separate motor [8010] from column [1340] or lantern [3160].
-
Lift the motor [8010] and slide it with the pump shaft [2100] out of
the column [1340] or lantern [3160].
-
Put down the motor+shaft assembly and make sure it will not roll
over.
-
Remove fastening screws [7412] from rigid coupling [7212].
-
Put down the shaft [2100].
