Fault
Excess pressure valve on the pump
opens and lubricant is emerging
Cause
•
The pump element does not build
up pressure. The pump element is
worn out. (Indication: The outlet
can be kept closed with your
fingers when the main line
is taken off.)
•
System pressure is over 300 bar,
e.g. due to distributor blocking or
blocked lubrication point
•
Valve damaged or soiled,
therefore no proper closing

Remedy
Replace the pump element
Note: Dosing marks with grooves
Check the system and repair or convert the system
so that the maximum system pressure is 200 bar at 20 °C.
Replace the excess pressure valve
