Remote Control Layout

1. POWER: Press to power the system ON/OFF
(password required).
2. System Mode buttons :
• MODE : Press the Mode Button to display the
Multi-Function Mode Menu.
• SETUP : Opens the DVR Setup menu.
• ID : Press to select the DVR ID (to control
multiple DVRs with a single remote).
• DVR : Switches display to DVR mode.
• VGA (PC) : Switches display to PC mode.
• COMPONENT : Switches display to
Component mode
• Picture Frame : Not in use.

changed). Exit to the main viewing screen, and
press the ID button twice to open the REMOTE
ID window. Press the number keys on the
remote to assign the remote an ID and then
press the ENTER key.
3. Navigation / Menu buttons :
• ENTER
: Press to confirm menu
options/selections.
• RETURN
: Press to cancel/deselect
previous screen.
• Press the RETURN button to open the
System Information window while in viewing
mode.
• : Press to move cursor up; increase values
in certain menu options.
• : Press to move cursor down; decrease
values in certain menu options.
• : Press to move cursor left.
• : Press to move cursor right.
• : Press to pause playback.
• : Press to increase reverse playback speed
1X, 2X, 4X, 8X,16X, 32X, and 64X.
• : Press to increase forward playback speed
1X, 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X, and 64X.
4. Info/ Search / Display buttons :
• INFO: Displays system hardware and
network information.
• SEARCH: Opens the system search menu.
• DISPLAY: Opens the Display menu. The
display menu allows you to select how the
screen is divided to display live video.
5. Channel buttons : Press to view individual
channels in full-screen; press to input
passwords; when entering camera titles,
press for alpha-numeric characters.
• PIP : Press to open Picture-In-Picture mode.
6. Audio buttons :
• + / - : Press (+) or (-) to increase or decrease
output volume.
• AUDIO: Switches between live audio
channels (CH1~4 only). Press Audio and
select Channel 1~4 (i.e press AUDIO + 1 to
select channel 1 audio).
7. Mode buttons :
• P/T/Z : Press to open the PTZ control menu.
• KEYLOCK : Press to lock buttons on the
remote control and front panel.
• SEQUENCE : Press to start/stop Auto
Sequence mode.
• ZOOM : Press to enable Zoom mode. (Select
a channel first, and then press ZOOM.)
• ARCHIVE : Press to open the Archive menu.
