APPENDIX G: CONNECTING ADDITIONAL
Spot Out
The Spot out port displays the camera channels in sequence. You can change the dwell time of the
sequence in the Display menu (see "Display" on page 57, under sub section "Monitor"). This is
useful for a monitor in public view: you can make people aware that they are being watched.
NOTE: For details on configuring a programmable Spot Out sequence, see "Spot Out" on page 60.

Monitor Out

Use the Monitor Out port to connect an external monitor. Monitor Out mirrors the entire screen
image of your system. This is useful if you need to monitor the system from a second location (e.g.
a back office).
