3.5 Checks following conversion to another type of gas.
After ensuring conversion was carried out with nozzles of diameter required
for the type of gas used and checking correct pressure calibration, make
sure:
- there is no flame return in the combustion chamber;
- the burner flame is not too high or low and that it is stable (does not
detach from burner);
- the pressure testers used for calibration are perfectly closed and there are
no leaks from the gas circuit.
N.B.: All boiler adjustment operations must be carried out by qualified
personnel (e.g. Immergas Technical Assistance Service). Burner adjustment
must be carried out using a differential "U" or digital type pressure gauge,
connected to the pressure point located above the sealed chamber (detail 9
page 274) and the gas valve pressure outlet (detail 4 page 281), keeping to
the pressure value given in the table on page 283 according to the type of
gas for which the boiler is arranged.
3.6 Eolo Star 23 kW adjustments (when required).
• Adjustment of boiler rated heat output.
- Press the domestic hot water temperature adjustment button (+) (3 page
275) until max. operating temperature.
- Open a domestic hot water cock to avoid activation of modulation.
- Adjust boiler rated heat output by means of the brass nut (3 page 281),
keeping to the max. pressure values given in the tables on page 283 ac-
cording to the type of gas used.
- Turn clockwise to increase heating power and anticlockwise to decrease
it.
• Adjustment of boiler min. heat output (see figure on page 281).
N.B.: Proceed only after setting rated pressure.
Minimum heat output in the domestic circuit phase is adjusted by means
of the plastic screw with cross cut (2) on the gas valve, keeping the brass
nut (3) locked;
- turn off the power supply to the modulating coil (simply detach a faston);
turn the screw clockwise to increase pressure and anticlockwise to decrease
it. After adjustment, reconnect the modulating coil. Boiler minimum
heat output pressure must not be adjusted to below the values given in
the tables on page 283 according to the type of gas.
N.B.:To adjust the gas valve, remove the plastic cap (6); after adjusting
refit the cap.
3.7 Electronic card programming
(see figure page 275)
The Eolo Star 23 kW boiler is arranged for possible programming of several
operation parameters. By modifying these parameters as described below, the
boiler can be adapted according to specific needs.
To enter programming:
- press buttons (1) and (2) at the same time for about 15 seconds;
- with buttons (3) and (4) select the parameter to be modified and indicated
in the following table:

Description
- modify the corresponding value, consulting the following tables by means
of buttons (5) and (6);
- confirm the set value by pressing the Reset button (1) for about 5 seconds;
press the domestic circuit temperature adjustment buttons (3) + and (4)
- at the same time to cancel the operation.
N.B.: If no button is pressed after a certain period of time the operation
is automatically cancelled.
Solar panel selection. This function is useful for setting the boiler so that
it can work with solar panels.
By setting parameter P0 to on "solare" mode, the burner shut-down is
related to the domestic hot water temperature regulation. In oF mode, the
burner shut-down occurs at maximum value.
N.B.: in combination with a solar valve kit, it is preferable to set the para-
meter P0 to on "solare" mode.

in order to operate on LPG or Methane gas.

Antileak function. This function reduces the heating temperature to 57°C
if domestic water circulation in heating mode is detected.

Domestic circuit postcirculation function. With the postcirculation
function active after domestic hot water drawing the pump is kept on
for 2.5 sec. in winter phase and 1.5 sec. in summer phase to reduce the
formation of scale.
