- USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

2.1
Cleaning and maintenance.
Important: The user must have the heating system serviced at least once
a year and a combustion test (fume test) carried out at least every two
years.
This ensures that the boiler's safety, efficiency and operating characteristics
remain unchanged over time.
We recommend stipulating an annual cleaning and maintenance contract
with your local technician.
2.2
General instructions.
Never expose the wall-mounted boiler to direct vapours from cooktops.
Unskilled persons or children must not be allowed to use the boiler.
Never touch the fume exhaust terminal (if fitted): risk of burning due to
high temperatures;
For safety purposes, check that the concentric air intake/fume exhaust
terminal (if fitted) is not even temporarily blocked.
If temporary shut-down of the boiler is required, proceed as follows:
a) drain the heating system if antifreeze is not used;
b) shut-off all electrical, water and gas supplies.

Boiler lighting. Before lighting, make sure that the system is full of water
checking that the manometer (7) indicates a pressure of 1 ÷ 1.2 bar.
- Open the gas cock ahead of the boiler.

) is selected, the domestic water temperature is adjusted
with buttons (3-4).
In case of work or maintenance to structures in the vicinity of ducting or
fume exhaust devices and relative accessories, switch off the appliance and
on completion of the work have a qualified technician check the efficiency
of the ducting or devices.
Do not clean the appliance or its parts with easily flammable substances.
Do not leave flammable substances or containers in the same room as the
appliance.
• Important: If any components using electrical power are used, some
basic rules must be followed:
- do not touch the appliance with wet or moist parts of the body; do not
touch it when barefoot;
- do not pull electric cables or leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric
agents (rain, sunlight, etc.);
- the appliance power cable must not be replaced by the user;
- in case of damage to the cable, switch off the appliance and contact
exclusively qualified personnel for replacement;
- in case of prolonged periods of disuse, turn off the main power switch.

Boiler operation is now automatic. With no demand for heat (heating or
domestic hot water production) the boiler goes on "stand-by" mode, equiva-
lent to the boiler being fed without presence of flame. Each time the boiler
lights up, the relative flame present symbol (15) is displayed.
