Fault and anomaly signalling.
In case of anomaly, the lighting of the boiler display changes from green,
ES
yellow to red, and the relative error codes listed in the table appear.
Anomaly signalled
PT
No ignition block
Overtemperature safety thermostat block,
GR
flame control anomaly
Electromechanical contacts
Delivery sensor anomaly
PL
Hot water circuit sensor anomaly
System pressure too low
Fume pressure switch fault
TR
Parasite flame
Insufficient circulation
CZ
Presence of leak
Loss of communication with CRD
Ignition block. The boiler lights automatically with each demand for room
CS
heating or hot water production. If this does not occur within 10 seconds,
the boiler goes on "ignition block" (code 01). To eliminate the "ignition
block" press the Reset button (1). On first ignition or following a prolonged
SI
downtime, intervention may be necessary to eliminate the "ignition block".
If this phenomenon occurs frequently, contact a qualified technician (e.g.
Immergas Technical Assistance Service).
Overtemperature thermostat block. During normal operation, if an
HU
anomaly causes excessive internal overheating, the boiler goes on over-
temperature block (code 02). After suitable cooling, eliminate the "over-
temperature block" by pressing the Reset button (1). If this phenomenon
occurs frequently, contact a qualified technician (e.g. Immergas Technical
RU
Assistance Service).
Electromechanical contacts. This occurs in case of a resistive contact of
the safety thermostat or fume pressure switch (code 04).
RO
Delivery sensor anomaly. If the control board detects an anomaly in the
system delivery NTC sensor (code 05) the boiler will not start; call a quali-
fied technician (e.g. Immergas Technical Assistance Service).
IE
Hot water circuit sensor fault. If the control unit detects an anomaly in the
hot water circuit NTC sensor (code 06) the boiler will not produce hot water;
call a qualified technician (e.g. Immergas Technical Assistance Service.
System pressure too low.The water pressure measured in the heating circuit
(code 10) is insufficient to guarantee correct boiler operation. Make sure
the pressure in the system is between 1÷1.2 bar.
Fume pressure switch fault. This occurs if the intake or exhaust pipes
are blocked or in case of a fan fault (code 11). If normal conditions are
restored the boiler restarts without having to be reset. If this anomaly per-
sists, contact a qualified technician for assistance (e.g. Immergas Technical
Assistance Service).
Parasite flame. This occurs in case of a leak on the detection circuit or
anomaly in the flame control unit (code 20).
Insufficient water circulating. This occurs if there is overheating in the
boiler due to insufficient water circulating in the primary circuit (code 27);
the causes can be:
- poor system circulation; check that no shut-off devices on the heating
circuit are closed and that the system is free of air (deaerated);
- circulating pump blocked; free the circulating pump.
If this phenomenon occurs frequently, contact a qualified technician for
assistance (e.g. Immergas Technical Services Centre).
Domestic circuit leaks. If, during operation, there is a temperature rise
in domestic hot water in the heating phase, the boiler signals the anomaly
(code 28) and reduces the heating temperature to limit the formation of
scale in the exchanger.
Make sure all the cocks of the domestic circuit are closed and not leaking,
and in any case check that there are no leaks in the system. The boiler
returns to normal functioning when optimal conditions are restored in
276
the domestic circuit.
If this anomaly persists, contact a qualified technician for assistance (e.g.
Immergas Technical Assistance Service).
Loss of communication with the Digital Remote Control. Occurs when
communication between the boiler and DRC is lost for more than 1 minute

and then back on again. If this problem occurs frequently, contact a qualified
technician for assistance (e.g. Immergas Technical Services Centre).

appears on the display.
N.B.: In these conditions the boiler is to be considered as still electrically

Close the gas cock ahead of the appliance. Do not leave the boiler pointlessly

Periodically check the system water pressure. The boiler pressure gauge must

read a pressure of between 1 and 1.2 bar.
If the pressure falls below 1 bar (with circuit cool) restore normal pressure by

means of the cock located at the bottom of the boiler (see figure).

N.B.: Close the cock on completion.

If pressure values reach around 3 bar the safety valve may be activated.
In this case contact a professional technician for assistance.
In the event of frequent pressure drops, contact qualified personnel for
assistance to eliminate a possible system leak.
2.6
To drain the boiler, use the special drain cock (see the figure above and
on page 274).
Before draining, ensure that the filler cock is closed.
2.7
The boiler comes standard with an antifreeze function that activates the
pump and burner when the system water temperature in the boiler falls be-
low 4°C and stops once it exceeds 42°C. The antifreeze function is guaranteed
if the boiler is fully operative and not in "block" status, and is electrically
fed. To avoid keeping the system switched on in case of a prolonged absence,
the system must be drained completely or antifreeze substances added to the
heating system water. In both cases the boiler domestic water circuit must be
drained. In systems that are drained frequently, filling must be carried out
with suitably treated water to eliminate hardness that can cause scale.
2.8
Use damp cloths and neutral soap to clean the boiler casing. Do not use
abrasive or powder detergents.
2.9
In case of permanent boiler shutdown, contact professional personnel for
the relative procedures and make sure the electrical, water and gas supply
lines are disconnected.
