Selecting "yes" restores factory settings.
Selecting "no" closes the window without making any changes.
Firmware-Update
To do this, you must insert a FAT32-formatted storage medium with primary partition, e.g. a USB
stick, into the USB port on the back of the device. The firmware file must be in the main contents
list. Press "Update" to search for the firmware file. If a file is found, it will be installed. "Update
complete" is displayed once the installation has ended. Confirm < OK > by pressing the ENTER
button to start up the device. This may take a few minutes.

Settings > Copy
This gives you the option of copying data to or from a USB stick.
Under "Type" you must choose between "all data" or "user". All data means that you transfer a
complete back-up of all device-specific and personal data from the device onto a USB stick or
from a USB stick onto the device.
"User" allows you to copy all of the personal data for one person to another location, for exam-
ple from person1 to person4 or to a USB stick or vice-versa.
When you press "Copy" you will be asked if you want to copy the files.
Press "Yes" to continue with the copying.
Press "No" to exit the window without making any changes.
Reproduction of music
(USB Stick)
If there are files in mp3 or ogg format on the USB memory an arrow will be shown above the
right function key.
Tapping the "arrow" will open a window with a list of the music files.
Tapping "Play" will play the highlighted piece
Tapping "Plus" will raise the volume
Tapping "Minus" will lower the volume
Playing audio and video
(via AV socket)
Music, images and videos can be fed into the device via an external player and played in the
central display. To do this, press the arrow with the screen symbol.

General information

System sounds
Turning on
When the equipment is turned on, a short tone will sound during the segment tests.
End of programme
The end of a programme (profile programmes, count down) will be signalled by a short sound.
Exceeding the maximum heart rate
If the set maximum heart rate is exceeded by one beat then 2 short signals will sound every 5
seconds.
Error information
3 short tones will sound when an error occurs
