Static functional test
Place the piston rod in the advanced end position.

Dynamic brake test
Pressurise cylinder chamber of the DNCKE in the returning
direction with test pressure P
simultaneously exhausting the cylinder chamber in
the advancing direction.
– The movement begins (danger of crushing).
– The max. permissible travel speed must not be
exceeded.
Exhaust port (2 è Fig. 1).
– Braking begins
– The cylinder stops.
Determine path from the exhaust start signal until
the cylinder is at rest.
– This path equals the overtravel.
