11.7 Using HyperTerminal
This section describes how to set up and use Windows' HyperTerminal to capture and transmit test
results.
Note:
The screen captures and menu configurations shown here may vary depending on your
version of Windows.
11.7.1 Setting Up HyperTerminal

On the Windows desktop, click
HyperTerminal
Terminal setup wizard.
If HyperTerminal does not appear, install it by going to
Add/Remove Programs (Add/Remove Windows Components > Communications
Consult Windows help for details.

Type a descriptive name (such as Abaxis) for the con-
nection in the Name box. Click
