F.1 Testing your blood glucose
1. Power on the BGM with the POWER button on right side of
meter. The device will automatically start in the Main Menu.
Select Test Mode to test your blood
glucose. When ready to check blood,
"Insert test strip" will be displayed.
On the Test Mode
screen, you can see
the following:

Wireless
signal strength

Battery level
3
Current time
4
Date and time
of last reading

Last test reading
2. Take out a Philips or BioTel Care® Test Strip from the bottle,
and close the bottle immediately. (Some meters require the
user to enter a code from the vial. Philips and BioTel Care®
Test Strips do not require a code.)
3. Firmly insert the test strip into your BGM until it is fully seated.
