Other apps
Along with the BGM default apps, there are other apps that may
appear on your device. These apps include:
Connected Devices
You can connect select devices (ex: pulse oximeter, blood
pressure monitor or weight scale) to your BGM via Bluetooth
and send the results right to your meter. After choosing the
Connected Devices app icon on your meter, select the Scan
button in the top left of the screen to pair your device (if
this is your fi rst time in the app, you will be asked to turn on
Bluetooth via a pop-up, click Yes). Follow instructions sent
with your connected device to pair the device with your
meter. Once paired, you may take a test with your connected
device. Connected device results are synced with the app and
displayed on your BGM screen. The result is sent to the portal
and saved as a log. If needed, user manuals may be accessed by
pressing the Info button in the top right of the main Connected
Devices screen.
Survey App
To better engage with you, surveys may be sent to your meter to
gain your feedback. Upon receipt of a new survey, a pop-up will
appear on the screen. You can choose to either open the survey
or dismiss the pop-up. If you dismiss the survey, it will still appear
in the Survey App. To access the new survey, you may either
select Open on the pop-up or go to the Survey App by pressing
the Survey icon on your meter.
In the app, you can select any new or listed surveys. Once in a
survey, you may answer the on-screen questions. After you have
answered all survey questions, your meter will submit the results
to the portal. Once a fi nished survey is sent to the portal, the
results will not be stored on your meter.
Note: If a survey is closed before it is fi nished, your answers will
not be saved.
