Carry out the scheduled maintenance operations.
This has the aim of keeping the engine in the best
constant maintenance of the safety requirements.
CAUTION - WARNING
Before starting engine maintenance opera-
tions, it is always good practice to discon-
nect the main power supply (battery negative
board and the starting key a written notice,
operations, remove the notice.
CAUTION - WARNING
Each maintenance operation must be carried
out with the engine off and warm or cold, de-
pending on the operation to be carried out.
Those authorized to carry out these interven-
tions should follow all the precautions needed
to guarantee the safety of the people involved,
in compliance with the requirements laid
down in the applicable legislation regarding
safety at the workplace.
CAUTION - WARNING
Use the prescribed tightening torque of the
ening causes deformations or breakages.
CAUTION - WARNING
Ventilate the engine compartment by means of
a bilge ventilator or by opening the bilge door.

Do not carry out any maintenance operation
on the engine and its accessories unless they
have been properly trained and are capable of
carrying out the necessary operations.
For engine maintenance please contact an
authorised VM MOTORI FCA ITALY workshop.
Failure to use suitable equipment may result in
engine damage.
IMPORTANT
Do not disperse any material resulting from
maintenance operations carried out on the en-
gine. Do not release polluting material into the
environment. Carry out their disposal in com-
pliance with the relevant legislation in force.
