CHECK AND TOP UP THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL
WARNING
- The wrong oil level can damage your engine.
- Do not use your motorbike if the level is below the minimum.
Medium strength thread lock
The oil level is checked with the dipstick attached
to the filler cap on the right hand side of the
motorbike
This gauge has minimum and maximum level
markings.
This operation must be carried out with the engine

stopped,but hot.
Make sure that the motorbike is on its 2 wheels,
vertical and on level ground.
To check the level:
- Remove the screw cap
- Clean the dipstick.
- Replace the plug, without screwing it in.
- Remove the plug again.

- Check the oil level against the marks on the dipstick.
The oil level must be between the MIN
marks.
Filling up with oil:
- Top up the oil, if necessary.
- Replace the oil cap.
Oil type: SAE 10-40
