DO NOT TOW THE MACHINE FOR MORE THAN A FEW METRES, OR ALLOW THE MACHINE TO FREE
WHEEL DOWN SLOPES EVEN WHEN UNLOADING DOWN RAMPS.
6.16 SEAT RIGHT HAND ARM REST & POD ___________________________________
The right hand arm rest of the seat has an extension mounted to it which carries the control pod.
To obtain a comfortable operating position:
a) Release hand wheel (A).
b) Using both hands grip the arm rest and lift or lower the
arm rest. It will move in a circular motion (X) either mov-
ing up and forward or down and rearwards.
c) When the desired position is obtained lock by tightening
the hand wheel (A).
The pod can be pivoted in the horizontal plane (Y), inde-
pendently of the arm as follows:
a) Loosening the three screws (B) holding the pod to the
arm rest extension.
b) Swivel pod to desired position.
c) Tighten the three screws (B).
The whole arm rest extension can be pivoted in the horizontal plane (Z) as follows:
a) Remove the arm rest cushion by removing the four screws (D).
b) Loosen the three locknut's (E) fitted to studs (C).
c) Swivel the arm rest extension to the desired position.
d) Tighten the three locknut's (E)
e) Refit the arm rest cushion with the four screws (D)
