• Remove the oil drain screw (16) from the tamper
base.
• If necessary, top up with SAE 10W-30 oil.
• Replace the screw and tighten it.
• Right the device again
Change the oil:
Change the oil in the tamping system after the first 50
operating hours, then every 300 operating hours
• Tilt the vibration rammer backwards until it rests on
the guide bar.
• Place a suitable container under the device.
• Remove the oil drain screws (16) on the tamper base
and allow the oil to drain into the container.
• Return the vibration rammer to the upright position
and then tilt it forward until the device rests on the
transport protection (18).
• Fill in oil.
• Replace the screw (sight glass 16) and tighten it.
• Right the device again.
After changing the oil, do not run the machine for 10
minutes.
Note!
Recommended engine oil: SAE 10W-30
Capacity: approximately 0.8 litres
Dispose of the drained oil properly at a local used oil
collection point. Dumping used oil in the soil or mixing
it with waste is prohibited
Important note in the case of repairs:
When returning the device for repair, please ensure for
safety reasons that it is free of oil and fuel when it is
sent to the service centre.

Rammer foot (15)
With a new device, before each start-up or after install-
ing a new rammer foot (15), tighten all fixing nuts.
15. Disposal and recycling
The device is supplied in packaging to avoid
transport damages. This packaging is raw ma-
terial and can thus be used again or can be
reintegrated into the raw material cycle.
The device and its accessories are made of
different materials, such as metals and plas-
tics. Take defective components to special waste dis-
posal sites. Check with your specialist dealer or munic-
ipal administration!
