When transporting with a vehicle, make sure that the
device does not fall over.
If this is not possible, first empty the fuel tank completely,
lay the tamper down and lash it firmly to the loading area
of the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away or sliding.
When lifting by hoist, use the transport bar (19) and lift
carefully to avoid injury.
Before lifting, ensure that the lifting device is capable of
supporting the machine weight without danger.
Loading ramps must be load-bearing and stable.
ATTENTION!
After transport in a horizontal position, the device must
be righted again to allow the oil to run back to the en-
gine (1). This process may take some time until the nor-
mal oil level is restored.
ATTENTION!
The device is heavy and must not be lifted by a single
person.
13. Storage
In the event of storage for a longer period of time, emp-
ty the fuel tank and run the carburettor empty.
Unscrew the spark plug.
Pour approximately 20 ml of clean engine oil through
the spark plug hole into the cylinder.
Pull the recoil starter (10) out slowly so that the oil dis-
tributes itself in the engine (1) and screw the spark plug
back in.
Remove all dirt, deposits and dust from the engine (1)
and the cylinder head ridges.
Clean the air filter (5) or replace it if it is heavily con-
taminated.
Store the vibration rammer securely in a dry place that
is inaccessible to children.
The unit may not be stored in the open.
Cover the device and the engine (1) to protect against
dust and store in a clean, dry place.
Secure the vibration rammer against tipping over.
When the rammer is stored in the lying position, the
device may only be tilted forwards so that the engine
(1) points upwards. This prevents oil from getting into
the cylinder, air filter (5) or combustion chamber, which
causes starting problems.
Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children. The op-
timum storage temperature lies between 5 and 30 ˚C.
Store the power tool in its original packaging.
Cover the power tool to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the power tool.
14. Maintenance
m ATTENTION!
Always shut the engine (1) down and remove the spark
plug connector before carrying out any maintenance
work.
Maintenance plan
Please observe this machine and engine maintenance
table!
