ATTENTION
When starting the engine, always open the choke lever
(8) only when the throttle lever (11) is at idle, otherwise
the tamper may start moving.
Slowly increase the vibration rammer from the idle po-
sition to the full throttle position.
Shutting the engine off
• Push the throttle (11) to the right in idle position.
• Set ignition switch (9) to "OFF".
• To close the fuel valve (4), turn it to the right.
• To close the fuel valve (21), turn it to the left.
• Note! Stopping the engine (1) suddenly with full
throttle can cause engine damage.
Working with the vibration rammer (Fig. 10)
• Guide the vibration rammer with both hands using
the guide bar.
• Always walk uphill when working on slopes or in-
clines.
• The operator must never stand in the direction of fall.
• Keep the vibration rammer clean and dry.
Should the tamper tip over, then immediately switch off
the engine (1) (set ignition switch (9) to "OFF")
Then set the device down, or lay it on its side, with the
engine (1) facing upwards. (see transport position. Fig.
3) Abb. 3)
To avoid engine damage, the tamper must not con-
tinue to run when it is lying on its side.
• Also switch the device off during short work inter-
ruptions.
• When working, open the throttle (11) fully to achieve
maximum power.
• Never let go of the guide bar when compacting.
• Let the device pull forward by itself.
• Do not apply pressure to the device, do not try to
move the unit forward with muscle power.
• The rammer foot (15) must always make contact par-
allel to the ground to avoid extreme wear of the plate.
Attention!
Do not use the vibration rammer on concrete or
hard or firmly compacted ground surfaces. In
such cases, the device starts to bounce instead of
vibrating, causing damage to the rammer foot (15)
and the engine.

11. Cleaning
m ATTENTION!
Always shut the engine (1) down and remove the spark
plug connector before carrying out any cleaning work.
After each use, clean the cylinder cooling fins and re-
move any dirt or stones that have accumulated on the
device.
m ATTENTION!
Do not use a "high-pressure cleaner" to clean the plate
vibrator. Water can penetrate sealed areas of the ma-
chine and cause damage to spindles, pistons, bearings
or the engine (1). High-pressure cleaners shorten the
operating time and impair operability.
12. Transport
See technical data for the weight of the machine. Allow
the engine (1) to cool down before lifting/transporting
or storing indoors to avoid burns and a risk of fire.
Attention!
When transporting, always switch off the engine (1)
and close the fuel valves (4) and (21), (OFF position).
Before transport or parking indoors, allow the ma-
chine's engine (1) to cool down to avoid burns and risk
of fire.
When changing location, even for a short distance dur-
ing work, switch off the engine (1).
Ensure that persons are not endangered by the ma-
chine tipping or slipping.
Travel fixture Fig. 13.1, 13.2
The transport device facilitates handling over short
distances.
• Shut the vibration rammer down.
• Tilt the tamper slightly forwards and slide the trans-
port device under the holder.
• Hold the transport device with your foot,
• tilt the tamper backwards onto the axle and move it
with the help of the protective bar.
• When setting down, proceed in reverse order.
• Carefully park and remove the axle with wheels
Only use the travel fixture on a level and solid surface
and for short distances. Remove the travel fixture again
before the next tamping operation.
Attention!
Always transport the vibration rammer in an up-
right position to avoid fuel or oil leakage.
