NOTICE
• A sealing plug facilitates easier disassembly and assembly of the insulating bush used in ABIMIG
• Ensure that the current contact areas on the torch neck and torch neck seat are clean.

W T, lubricate the O-rings with a silicone-free lubricant (192.0078). This makes it easier to insert the torch neck and extends the service life of
the O-rings.
1 Unscrew the welding torch from the torch handle and optionally, for

ABIMIG
W T, insert the sealing plug (6) in the torch handle.
2 Grind down (angle of approx. 40°) the torch neck liner (8) at the contact
tip (stripped side).
3 Insert the torch neck liner (8) with the stripped side into the torch neck
until it stops at the contact tip.

Required only for ABIMIG
W T: For welding work that makes an end-to-end wire guide absolutely necessary, the insulating bush inside the torch neck seat can
be unscrewed using a flathead screwdriver (width of ca. 10 mm).
ABICOR BINZEL offers an insulating bush for end-to-end wire guides as an option.
8.3
Cleaning the cable assembly
WARNING

Serious injuries may be caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning with compressed air, wear suitable protective clothing, in particular safety goggles.
1 Replace any damaged, deformed or worn parts.
2 Lay out the cable assembly straight.
3 At the central plug: Unscrew the nut.

10 Warranty
This product is an original ABICOR BINZEL product.
Alexander BINZEL Schweisstechnik GmbH & Co. KG guarantees
correct manufacture and assumes a factory production and function
warranty for this product upon delivery, which is in line with the most current
technology and the regulations in force. If ABICOR BINZEL is responsible
for a defect that is present, ABICOR BINZEL is obliged to remedy the defect
or deliver a replacement at its own cost and its own discretion. The warranty
covers manufacturing faults, but not damage resulting from natural wear and
tear, overloading or improper use. The warranty period is defined in the
BAL.0835.0 • 2021-03-19

Slide in the torch neck liner and shorten it at the end free of the retaining
nipple until it flexibly protrudes 2 mm from the retaining nipple.

Cut the torch neck liner (8) so it protrudes 12 mm up to the power
contact surface (9); ensure it is free of burrs.
5 Deburr the edge and remove the sealing plug (6) if necessary.
6 Screw the torch neck into the torch neck seat of the torch handle.
4 Clean the wire conduit from both sides with compressed air.
