Read me first: Firebox
Please read these instructions
and user manual carefully
• TAKE EXTRA CARE when unpacking and assembling your Firebox. Some Firebox
edges may be sharp from the manufacturing process and may result in cuts if not
handled with care. The pizza stone is fragile and may break if dropped, handle with
care.
• FIREBOX suggests placing the main body on a flat surface and removing any
plastic or protective material first, then insert the pizza stone into the Firebox.
• DO NOT dispose of packaging until completely satisfied with assembly
of your Firebox.
• NEVER lay the Firebox on its side, damage may be caused to the pizza stone
(always keep flat and horizontal)
• Before you start cooking for the first time, heat the Firebox to "Hot zone" in
order to burn off any residuals and solvents, oil and grease, which may have
remained from the manufacturing process. Allow to cool to "Ideal zone" before
placing pizza in.
• Barbecue hood must be in open position before lighting.
• NEVER touch any part of your Firebox while it is in use as it becomes EXTREMELY
HOT.
• FIREBOX recommends the use of stainless steel protectors and cleaners to
pro-long the life of your Firebox.
