occur during the cutting process if an incorrect die is
used.
Result:
excessive tool wear
increased load on the machine
Remedy:
use the highest die whenever
possible
ensure that the distance X bet-
ween the sheet surface and the
punch guide (2) is as small as
possible

Danger of injury
Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any work on the machine!
If the punch and/or the die are blunt, resharpen the
punch or change tools.
Detaching the punch
a) Loosen the locking lever (15).
b) Turn the die carrier (1) 45°.
c) Pull the die carrier (1) out from the bottom.
d) Unscrew the punch (10).
Attaching the punch
Grease the punch and die carrier opening lightly with
lubricating grease "S1" TRUMPF Order No. 121486.
