- The male and female cut pieces must be the
same length.
- Use a file to do the final finishing on the cut
pieces. Lubricate with a thin layer of grease.
Recommendations:
- Before coupling the driveshaft, clean and
lubricate the power take-off axles and the
actuating parts of the machine.
- After installing the driveshaft, fasten the safety
chains, and leave some play for articulation.
- Verify the length of the driveshaft, whenever
using a different model of tractor.
- Disconnect the power take-off when
maneuvering the coupled machine.
- It is the exclusive responsibility of the
authorized Nogueira reseller to perform the
preparation on the driveshaft and the first
operation of the machine.
After assembling the driveshaft, keep the ends
aligned (the following fig.).
Misalignment of the ends will cause vibration in
the bracket, and thereby decrease the useful
lifetime of the driveshaft.
