CONDITIONS FOR GOOD
INSTALLATION
Before proceeding with installation,
check that:
1)
The chimney (cross section and
height) complies with the boiler
manufacturer's instructions and
local standards.
2)
When it is necessary to make
a refractory lining for the com-
bustion chamber (if the type of
boiler requires it), then it must
be made according to the spe-
cifi c instructions of the boiler
manufacturer.
3)
The electric power supply line
for the burner should be accor-
ding to our diagram and the
electrical connections on the
burner should match the volta-
ge of the electric power supply
line.
APPLICATION OF THE BURNER TO BOILER
1 Boiler plate
2 Flange with insulating materials
3 Seam with insulating materials
4 Burner securing fl ange
5 Stud bolts, washers and nuts for fastening to the boiler
6 Nuts screws and washers to fasten fl ange to the sleeve
COMBUSTION HEAD ASSEMBLY
To put in place insulation fl ange 2, which must be posi-
tioned between the burner and the plate of boiler 1, the
end of the combustion head must fi rst be removed.
a) Adjust position of connector fl ange 4 by loosening
screws 6 so that the combustion head penetrates into
the combustion chamber the amount recommended
by the generator's manufacturer.
b) Position seal insulation 3 on the tube unit.
c) Fasten the combustion head assembly to the boiler 1 using the stud bolts,
washers and the nuts provided 5.
d) With suitable material, completely seal the space between the tube unit of the
burner and the hole on the refractory plate inside the boiler door.
4)
Fuel pipelines should be made
according to our diagram.
5)
The nozzle(s) fi tted on the bur-
ner should be suitable for the
boiler capacity; replace them
with others if necessary. In no
case should the quantity of fuel
delivered exceed the maximum
amount required by the boiler
and the maximum amount per-
mitted for the boiler. Remember
that the combustion head has
been designed for nozzles
with a 45° spray angle. Only
in special cases can nozzles
with a different spray angle be
fi tted; in these cases, however,
make sure that the nozzle with
a different spray angle will not
cause problems (fl ame separa-
tion, disk or combustion head
fouling, violent ignition, etc.).

6)
When removing the protective
plastic cap from the nozzle seat
be careful because if the sea-
ling surface is indented (a slight
scoring would be enough) it will
cause fuel dripping.
7)
Make sure that the burner head
enters the combustion chamber
according to the boiler manu-
according to the boiler
facturer's instructions.
8)
Before connecting the fl exible
pipes, remove the plastic pro-
tective caps from the pump
fi ttings.
