4.3.5 Tongue Buckle

twisted. Insert webbing strap
with grommets through tongue
buckle from the underside.

Push both halves of the
buckle together until it
"clicks". Tug on both halves
of buckle to ensure it is firmly
connected. Pull loose end
of strap to tighten harness if
needed; then slide rigid keeper
(if applicable) up to buckle.
Secure excess webbing in
elastic keepers.

To disconnect, push
forward on both release
levers; then pull buckle apart.

Pass the buckle with center
bar under the square link.
Turn center bar buckle so that
the edges line up with the slots
in the square link. Pull the
center bar buckle completely
through and allow it to fall into
place on top of the square link.

Pull strap through until
snug. Place buckle tongue
through appropriate grommet.

4.3.3 Friction Buckle

Grasp loose end of
webbing strap and pull
to tighten. Secure excess
webbing in elastic keepers.

To loosen, flip buckle over
to release friction grip and
push outward to allow webbing
to pull through buckle.

strap to tighten harness if
needed; then slide rigid keeper
(if applicable) up to buckle.
Secure excess webbing in
elastic keepers.
