6.3 Checking the locking mechanism

6.3.1 Equipment rail adapter

1. Hook the portable system onto an equipment rail.
2. Push the locking levers outwards until the locking mechanism
noticeably snaps into place.
• It must not be possible to move the portable system on the
equipment rail.
• The locking levers must be parallel to the equipment rail.
3. Push the locking levers downwards until the locking
mechanism disengages.
• It must be possible to operate the locking levers with little
effort.
4. If the locking levers do not function perfectly: replace the
equipment rail adapters.
The locking mechanism functions perfectly.
