4.4 FUEL CHARACTERISTICS
The pellet is a compound made up of different types of wood pressed with mechanical
procedures in compliance with environmental protection regulations, and is the only fuel
for this type of boiler.
The efficiency and heating capacity of the boiler may vary depending on the type and quality
of pellet used.
For proper operation, the pellet heating boiler requires pellets with the following characteristics:
Pellet characteristics
Dimensions
Length
Max moisture content
Ash content

* on a dry base
The boiler has a pellet containment hopper with the capacity indicated in the technical data table.
The loading compartment is on the top/back, it has to be able to be opened in order to load
the pellets and it must stay closed during operation.
Operation is not possible with traditional wood.
It is forbidden to use the boiler as a waste incinerator.
The Manufacturer recommends certified fuel (ENPlus, DINPlus, Ö-Norm
M7135) is used for its products. The use of poor quality pellets or pellets that
do not conform to that specified above will compromise operation of your
product and may invalidate the warranty and product liability.
Store the pellets in a dry place. Be careful when storing and handling pellet
bags. Avoid crushing them and forming sawdust. Any sawdust in the unit's
hopper can cause malfunctions and/or the pellet feeding system to stop.
4.5 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The boiler works exclusively on pellets and enables easy installation with the heating and
DHW system. Its automatic control systems ensure optimum thermal efficiency and complete
combustion; there are also systems to ensure safe operation for the internal components and
the user. This unit must only be used for heating water to a temperature lower than boiling
point.
A properly installed unit works with any outdoor climate. Critical climatic conditions (strong
wind, frost, etc.) can trigger the safety systems that turn the boiler off.
The boiler comes complete with a fume extractor, pellet feed gearmotor and the control -
safety components.
