a) Manual washing
After use, dismount the bag resuscitator, ELIMINATE RESIDUES, IF ANY, clean components
with hot water without exceeding 60°C and adding some detergent compatible to the bag
resuscitator construction materials – see the enclosed product Technical Sheet.
Rinse with clean water to eliminate completely detergent residues, drain and carefully dry all
components.
When dried, re-assemble the bag resuscitator components, seal it in a sack suitable to
maintain the obtained level of cleanness, then place it in its box ready for use.
b) Disinfection with Chemicals
After use, dismount the bag resuscitator, ELIMINATE RESIDUES, IF ANY, clean components
with hot water – see Point a) Manual washing.
After drying all components disinfect them with a product compatible to the bag resuscitator
construction materials - see the enclosed product Technical Sheet.
Use the disinfectant following the producer instructions.
For disinfection, do not exceed the times suggested by the producer.
After disinfection rinse components with abundant water to eliminate chemical residues.
Drain and carefully dry all components.
When dried, re-assemble the bag resuscitator components, seal it in a sack suitable to
maintain the obtained level of cleanness, then place it in its box ready for use.
c) Water steam sterilization
After use, dismount the bag resuscitator, ELIMINATE RESIDUES, IF ANY, clean components
with hot water – see Point a) Manual washing.
After drying all components use the cycle 121°C NOT BAGGED for sterilization; up to 3
sterilization cycles per day are ensured.
Lay down each bag resuscitator component on the central tray, if possible.
Do not overlap bag resuscitator components.
When the sterilization cycle is over, extract the bag resuscitator components, let them cool, re-
assemble the bag and seal it in a sack suitable to maintain the obtained level of cleanness,
then place it in its box ready for use.
