Adjusting the Printout Quality—Menu Operation

To Set Values for Each Item and Save the Settings

42
You can adjust the color intensity (RED/GREEN/BLUE), gray (GRAY),
contrast (DARK/LIGHT), tone (GAMMA) and sharpness of the printout.
You can store up to three settings for color printing and three for B/W
printing. These settings are managed according to the setting number (1, 2
or 3). The color intensity, gray, picture contrast, sharpness and tone of a
printout are determined by recalling one of the six possible settings
according to setting number. This is useful when you wish to print images
shot under different lighting conditions.
Also, you can make a printout using temporarily set values, without
erasing the stored adjustment values.
After adjustment, make a printout to check the result, and readjust the
printout quality, if necessary.
For taking color pictures, a color guide for hue adjustment or light
intensity adjustment can be printed.
All values of the settings 1, 2 and 3 for color and B/W are factory-set to 0.
