CAUTION
Overheating switches the device off
Do not switch the appliance on empty. Fill the
cooking basin at least up to the minimum marking
and maximum up to the slosh guard with cold
water or cooking liquid. Do not let the cooking
basin cook empty. Never heat oil in the cooking
basin.

CAUTION
Damage to the glass cover
Never place the hot glass cover on a wet, cold
surface or cool it off under cold running water.
The glass cover can explode.
Handle the glass cover carefully and do not
subject it to any impact. Mechanical charge can
cause tension in the glass. During later heating
up, the glass cover can explode.
Replace a damaged glass cover right away. If,
due to a damaged glass cover glass splinters get
into the cooking basin, the food being prepared
there is no longer suitable for consumption.

Damage to device due to unsuitable accessories
Only use the original accessories provided.

CAUTION
Corrosion due to sale or spices
Add salt and bouillon cubes only to hot water. The
cooking basin is largely corrosion-resistant.
Nevertheless, in particular cases, salt can attack
the material.
Protecting the environment
Unpack the appliance and dispose of the packaging in
an environmentally friendly manner.
Saving energy

Pre-heat the steamer only until it has reached the
desired temperature.

If possible, always use the glass cover. Steam and
energy loss will be prevented by a cover that closes
well.

Take the opportunity to cook two different foods at
the same time with two cooking inserts.
