Position the handle (10) on the left side of the swivel
frame and secure this firmly with the cylindrical screws
and nuts (B1). (fig. 8)
9.1.2 Return spring (11) & locking lever (11a) (fig. 9)
Position the return spring (11) on the inner side and
the locking lever (11a) on the outer side of the swivel
frame and fasten these with the hex screw and nut (D).
Do not tighten the screw too tightly to ensure that the
locking lever (11a) can still be easily moved.
9.1.3 Combination switch/plug (3) (fig. 10)
Fasten the combination switch/plug on the rear of the
main frame (5) with the Phillips head screws and nuts
(C).
9.1.4 Cross member (6) (fig. 11)
Open the main frame (5) out and attach the cross
member. One end of the cross member is fitted to the
inner side of the main frame (motor side). Fasten the
cross member loosely initially using the hex screw and
the nut (E1).
Now place the swivel frame on the "swivel side" of the
main frame. The other end of the cross member can
now be attached to the outer side of the main frame.
Screw the cross member and the swivel frame firmly
onto the main frame (5) with the hex screws (E2).
Then tighten screw (E1) firmly too.
9.1.5 Saw blade guard & saw blade (fig. 12 - 15)
Position the saw blade guard (2) as shown in Figure
12. Fasten this in place with the three fillister head
screws and nuts (F1) at the top part of the saw blade
guard. Fasten the bottom part of the saw blade guard
with the fillister head screw and nut (F2).
Now fit the flange (24) to the motor shaft (4).
Position the saw blade (23) on the flange (24) and in
doing so ensure that the teeth of the saw blade are
pointing in the correct direction. Then fit the flange (22)
and fasten the complete assembly with the hex nut.
Tighten the hex nut with the installation tool (25) pro-
vided as shown in fig. 14.
Fit the saw blade guard (14) and fasten this with the
Phillips head screws (H).
9.1.6 Setting up the swivel frame (9) (fig. 16 - 18)
First remove the spring split pin (16a) and the washer
and keep these in your hand temporarily. Now open
out the swivel frame (9) and ensure that the return
spring does not fly off. Feed the rod of the return
spring through the hole provided for it. Finally, fasten
the return spring using the spring split pin removed
previously.
Now fasten the chain (12) with the hex screw (I1) (fig.
16).
Fasten the guide (17a) onto the threaded rod provided
for it with the self-locking nut (I2).
Finally, fit the guard (17) and fasten this in place with
the two Phillips head screws (J).
9.1.7 Guard (7) (fig. 19)
Fit the guard as shown in Figure 19. Feed the collar
bushings into the three holes on the bracket for the
guard. Then fasten the guard in place with the three
screws (K). Attach the spring (G).
9.1.8 Rocker extension (16) (fig. 8, 20)
Slide the rocker extension (16) into the opening on the
left side of the rocker and align it correctly in order
for the firewood to sit firmly. Then tighten the rocker
extension with the Wing screw (8).
9.1.9 Longitudinal stop (15) (fig. 21)
Screw the wing screw (8) into the intended position
on the right rear of the swivel frame (insofar as this is
not already fitted).
This wing screw serves to fasten the stop (15) in po-
sition
