2. Place an appropriate container under the oil draining hole to collect the drained
gasoline.
3. Using a screwdriver, loosen the carburetor draining screw (A). Gasoline will
begin streaming from the carburetor draining hole (B). Once all of the gasoline is
drained, tighten the draining screw again.
4. Remove the spark plug (see point 8.3 of this manual) and pour some clean
motor oil (10 ~ 20 ml) in the cylinder. Pull the startup handle gently, this will make
the engine spin and distribute the oil. Then install the spark plug again.
5. Pull the starter rope slowly until you feel resistance. In this point, the piston is
rising in its compression stroke and the intake and exhaust valves are closed. This
position helps protecting the engine against internal corrosion.
