INSTALL
MOWER
AND DRIVE
BELT
Be sure tractor is on level sur[ace and mower suspension
arms (2) are raised with attachment lift control. Engage park-
ing brake.
Cut and remove ties securing anti-sway bar (1) and belts.
Swing anti-sway bar to left side of mower deck.
•
Slide mower under tractor.
IMPORTANT:
CHECK BELT FOR PROPER ROUTING IN ALL
MOWER PULLEY GROOVES.
•
Turn height adjustment knob countemiockwiseuntil it
stops.
•
Lower mower suspensionarms (2) with attachmentlift
control.
•
Install belt into electric clutch pulley groove (7).
Place the suspension arms (2) on outward pointing deck
pins. Retain with double loop retainer springs (B).
•
Install front plate assembly (3) to trector suspension brack-
ets (4) and retain with single loop retainer springs (A) as
shown.
•
Position front plate assembly between front mower brack-
ets (5). Raise deck and plate assembly to align holes and
insert flanged pins (6). Secure pins with double loop re-
tainer springs (B) between the plate assembly and mower
brackets.
NOTE: To assist in locating hole in flanged pin (6), the hole in
pin is inline with notch on head of pin.
•
Connect anti-sway bar (1) to chassis bracket (8) under left
footrest and retain with double loop retainer spnng (B).
•
Turn height adjustment knob clockwise to remove slack
from mower suspension.
Raise deck to highest position.
Adjust gauge wheels (9) before operating mower.
