¢ Program Identification (PI)
Identifies each individual RDS program
by a code. This allows the tuner to
distinguish between the different RDS
stations and programs in your area. The
tuner uses this information in
conjunction with other RDS services.
¢ Enhanced Other Networks (EON)
Allows the tuner to switch from the
currently tuned in RDS station to another
network RDS station broadcasting a
traffic, news, or information program.
The tuner switches back to the original
station after the traffic, news, or
information program finishes.
In addition, you can rapidly searches for
a program with PTY search function
(page 62).
¢ Radio Text (RT)
Allows the RDS station to send text
messages that appear on thedisplay of
the tuner.
¢ Clock-Time (CT)
Displays the time on the display.
