NOTES REGARDING THE BATTERY
• The device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery can be charged
and drained hundreds of times, but its lifespan is not unlimited. In order to guar-
antee optimal performance, use the device regularly.
• Typical battery charge time (if drained to 0%): 90 minutes.
• After 3 hours of charging, disconnect the device from the charging source even
if it is not charged.
• Maximum ambient temperature for device charging 30 °C.
• If the device overheats while charging, disconnect the device from the charging
source immediately.
• If the device appears to be broken, cracked or damaged externally, do not
charge it.
• In order to save energy, disconnect the USB cable from the control unit when
the battery is fully charged.
• Leaving the battery in hot or cold environments, for example in a car during
the summer or winter, will reduce the capacity and the lifespan of the battery. A
device with a hot or cold battery may momentarily fail to function, even when the
battery is charged. Battery performance is particularly limited in temperatures
much below freezing.
• Do not throw the battery into the fire as it may explode. The battery may also
explode if damaged. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Recycle whenever possible. Do not dispose of in domestic waste.
