ADJUSTING INTENSITY - 99 LEVELS
Adjusting the intensity on Tesmed absolute is very practical.
There is a button for adjusting the intensity for each channel as well as a practical
two-arrow button that allows you to adjust the intensity of both channels simulta-
neously.
Once the optimal intensity has been reached via the button with two arrows, it is
possible to use one of the two buttons for an individual channel (indicated with
a single arrow) to fine tune the setting. Once done, intensity can once again be
adjusted using the two-arrow button; the difference in intensity between the two
channels will be automatically maintained.
It is common, and completely normal, that at the same intensity on both channels,
stimulation on the outer part of the abdominals is perceived as lower; it is therefore
possible to selectively increase intensity with the single button.
The central single button adjusts the two central inner electrodes, and the side
single button adjusts the intensity of the two side outer electrodes, eliminating
the possibility of confusion.
To quickly increase or decrease intensity, press and hold the button for 2 seconds
and adjustment will take place rapidly. This applies to both the single, one-channel
button, and the double, two-channel button.
IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED MUSCLE CONTRACTION, THE LEVEL OF
INTENSITY MAY VARY DUE TO A NUMBER OF FACTORS, INCLUDING THE POSI-
TIONING OF THE BELT ON THE ABDOMEN AND THE PRESENCE OF ADIPOSE
TISSUE.
THEREFORE, THE SAME INTENSITY OF CURRENT CAN PROVIDE DIFFERENT
SENSATIONS FROM PERSON TO PERSON, FROM DAY TO DAY, FROM LEFT TO
RIGHT, AND SO ON.
ERROR DETECTION
If the control device is not correctly positioned, or if the band is not tightly fitted
to the skin, or if the electrodes and skin are dry, the device will detect an error,
emitting an acoustic signal and a massage on the display.
If this happens, check for the situations described above.
KEYPAD LOCK
Pressing and holding the P button for 2 seconds will activate the key lock func-
tion and the key symbol will appear on the display in place of the T for Time.
The device can still be switched off by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for
2 seconds, even with the key lock activated.
PAUSE
By briefly pressing the ON/OFF button, the device will pause, momentarily inter-
rupting stimulation and stopping the timer, and the blinking square on the display,
showing the minutes, will disappear.
